UPDATE_LOG:002
Bye bye blank screen problem

Yo.
Thank you.
Ballpark has been publicly available for just under a month and the response has blown me away. It feels great to be helping others save time and get more leads for their business.
Now for the update:
What's new at Ballpark?
Webhooks I had a call a couple weeks back with a larger agency that has signed up to Ballpark. They needed webhooks set up before the tool would be useful. So this week I built them.
If you aren't familiar, a webhook allows you to integrate Ballpark with other tools you are using. An easy example is a CRM like hubspot. You can now take the data Ballpark collects and automatically send it directly into your CRM. This is a basic example but the potential here is endless.
A Pro subscription is required to access webhooks. Hit me up at [email protected] if you want help setting these up.Clear multiple questions / clear all question Previously, clearing all questions took years. Now it doesn't. Task menu added to the top left of the widget builder panel.
Integration screen tidy up. This looked like trash. So I redesigned and built a new page which feels much better:

New integrations panel.
What I’m working on next
Ability to split by previous answer. Sometimes you'll want to split the flow further down based on a question above. This will allow you to do that.

Split by previous answer
Widget design improvements:
The multi select / single select slider on the widget doesn't work great with longer labels. Need a better solution here.
The ability to hide your logo when in the chat interface to give more breathing room.
Style inconsistencies.
Better support for larger teams.
Multiple team member support.
Ability to change where email notifications are sent.
Email builder improvements. Bringing submitters answers into the email and using if/else logic is confusing. Need a clearer way to handle this visually.
Something to help you this week
One of the hardest parts of adopting a new tool is the blank screen problem. You don't know where to start. You get overwhelmed by all the possibilities. You then procrastinate, jump on the social feed, and push it to the too-hard-basket. I get it. I do this all the time.
I want to help you avoid this trap so I've created a prompt that I've been using to help people using ballpark get set up quickly. The goal of the prompt is to take a proposal or quote you've sent, extract out the key details (like services, price etc), interview you, then create a guide for how you could set up Ballpark based on your business. The guide includes everything from questions and branching logic to pricing rules and email template setups.
It’s super long, so I added a page here where you can copy.
P.S. Let me know how this goes for you. The goal is to implement this into onboarding in the not so distant future.
Who went live this week
I think its cool to highlight people who went live with Ballpark this week. If you're looking to hire, these teams and freelancers will give you a ballpark price instantly 😉
