Ballpark Progress Log: 001
Is this thing on..

Yo!
Thanks for joining the Ballpark waitlist. It's cool to see people interested in something I've been working on 2 hours a day for months.
In this first update, I'll give you a quick back story and the why behind building this. Then I'll share a progress update and when you can expect the beta release.
The story
My name is Will. I'm the solo founder behind Ballpark. I split my time between building this and freelancing as a design engineer.
The idea for Ballpark came from a client project I worked on a year ago. We built an automated quote tool that took inputs from users and sent out automated quotes based on a predefined formula. It was simple and crazy effective (over 100+ submissions in the first few months).
A few months later, I rebuilt my website and wanted to include a similar experience. But instead of a predefined formula, I wanted the estimation based on my previous work. I also wanted the estimation to feel like a conversation rather than filling out another form.
At first, I thought I'd build this for myself. But after conversations with friends, it became clear this could help grow other peoples businesses.
Fast forward to today, Ballpark is live on my website (go to over-stimulated.com and click "Get an estimate" for a demo), I'm in conversation with my first potential client from the tool, and it's nearly ready for its private beta.
I’m super motivated to help people just like me crush online. Ballpark is just the beginning friends.
So when's this thing going to be ready?
Good news. Before writing this email, I finished the final feature for the first round of beta testers. Ballpark now lets you:
Create a questionnaire
Style it to match your brand
Set up your previous work to base estimations on
Create estimation rules for accuracy
Personalise the email sent upon submitting
Embed on your website
Convert more visitors to leads
The final step is QA testing to ensure it's ready for your websites. I'm giving myself 2 weeks to test, fix, and prepare.
Once the beta is live and you guys are getting more clients from Ballpark, I’ll be focusing on how we Integrate with other tools. The goal is to streamline our workflows so we can spend more time working on shit we enjoy.
That's all for this update.
Thanks again for the interest. Means the world ❤️
Talk soon
